The Alumni Association of the University of Silesia
The Alumni Association of the University of Silesia was established in 2008 on the initiative of University of Silesia’s graduates and the people cooperating with the university. Its goal is to integrate the graduate community of the University of Silesia in Katowice, promote graduates on the labour market in the country and abroad, help in raising qualifications and retraining, and promote the achievements of the university and support its activities and those of other organizations operating within or for the University of Silesia.
The Alumni Association of the University of Silesia encourages everyone to join the implementation of graduate initiatives. The goals of the Association are particularly related to the strengthening of the position of graduates, activities in the field of science and education, and the popularization of the academic achievements of the University and its graduates.
How to become the member of the Association?
The people who have completed their studies at the University of Silesia (undergraduate, graduate, doctoral or postgraduate) may become members of the Association. In addition, graduates from other universities may also belong to the Association if they significantly contribute to achieving its statutory aims.
To become a member of the Alumni Association of the University of Silesia, simply complete the membership declaration and send it by post to the following address: Opolska 15, 40-084 Katowice or by e-mail (scan) to the e-mail address: stowarzyszenieabsolwentow@us.edu.pl.
Membership declaration – an ordinary member (membership fee for an ordinary member is PLN 30 per year)
Membership declaration ‒ a supporting member (a natural or legal person who provides assistance to the Association)
Membership declaration – a collective member (faculty graduate organizations acting formally or informally or other graduate organizations operating at the University of Silesia)
