Professor Grzegorz Racki is among the researchers from all over the world who have the greatest impact on the development of science. The journal “PLOS Biology” published an article presenting a list of over 150,000 researchers from around the world. The list was prepared by John P. A. Ioannidis, Kevin W. Boyack, and Jeroen Baas on the basis of selected bibliometric indicators and data from the Scopus database.
The authors used the composite citation index developed by them, including the following data: the number of citations, the Hirsch index, and the role of the author of the publication among co-authors. Due to the different citation habits in the disciplines, the most cited scientists from each subject category were also included.
