Lecture of prof. Kazuyuki Saito in the Institute of Earth Sciences

In the coming days prof. Kazuyuki Saito will visit the Institute of Earth Sciences. Prof. Saito is an employee of the Research Institute for Global Change, Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology, Japan Meteorological Agency, Tokyo, Japan. He is a world-class specialist in the research and modelling of permafrost occurrence. Prof. Saito comes to the Institute of Earth Sciences to exchange experiences and consult on possibilities of cooperation in permafrost research. As part of his stay, he will give a lecture entitled Permafrost in Japan and beyond – on a regional and global scale on 26th October (Thursday) in room 123 E. Romera, at 1:30 p.m.
