We invite you to open lectures as part of the Faculty’s scientific meetings, delivered by Professor Ola Fredin (Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Department of Geoscience and Petroleum). The lectures will be delivered on October 25, 2023 (Wednesday) in room 128 of the WNP building at ul. Będzińska 60.

• Lecture 1 (9:45-11:15) entitled Remnants of deep weathering in formerly glaciated Scandinavia – relicts from pre-Quaternary time or newly formed?.
• Lecture 2 (11:30-13:00) entitled Glaciation history of Norway, and how the Quaternary glaciations set up the landscape for geohazards.
