Political and Public Counselling, 1st cycle studies
Students in Political and Public Counselling will learn how contemporary countries work and how ideas, thoughts, movements, and currents shape society. Each of them will become a conscious individual, and the acquired knowledge will open broad professional perspectives.
They will acquire knowledge in political sciences, journalism and philosophy. They will be able to design and organise diagnostic tests of social and political campaigns as well as measure their effectiveness. They will be able to implement effective marketing strategies, design modern advertising and campaign materials (posters, leaflets, spots, multimedia materials) and match their content to target recipients. Moreover, they will be able to build the image of political parties and individual politicians, as well as create and manage political brand image.
Graduates are prepared to work in:
- public institutions,
- constituency and senator’s office,
- political organisations,
- public relations agencies,
- organs of local self-governments, particularly in the area of designing and implementing social and political campaigns, as well as designing media campaigns.
Graduates may also establish their own consulting and advisory companies or work as a spokesperson, PR analyst, political advisor, head or a member of political campaign staff, political coach, or kingmaker.
