We are pleased to inform that Małgorzata Przybyła-Kasperek, PhD, DSc, Assoc. Prof. from the Institute of Computer Science of the University of Silesia has been appointed to the group of experts of the National Centre for Research and Development to evaluate grant applications.
National Centre for Research and Development is a key entity for supporting and creating innovative technological and social solutions, shaping the ecosystem of knowledge and information in regards to them. The Centre initiates and implements projects contributing to the civilizational development of the country. As an expert cooperating with the National Centre for Research and Development, Małgorzata Przybyła-Kasperek, PhD, DSc, Assoc. Prof. will participate in various works, including the process of selecting applications for co-financing, preparing the assessment of content reports and requests for changes at the project implementation stage, as well as developing other opinions and expertise for the Centre.
Małgorzata Przybyła-Kasperek, PhD, DSc, Assoc. Prof., has extensive research experience in the field of artificial intelligence, distributed data classification, rough set theory and decision support systems. She has been a contractor and task leader in projects funded by national and European funds, including: VINCI Dive into Science – Interdisciplinary International Silesian Summer School (Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange SPINAKER, 2021–2023), Future IT Professionals Education in Artificial Intelligence (European Commission, 2021–2024) and Work-Based Learning in Future IT Professionals Education (FITPED) (European Commission, 2018–2021). She is the author of more than 100 publications in prestigious scientific journals and monographs.
