The inauguration of the 2021/2022 academic year for students of English-speaking Materials Science and Engeenering studies took place on October 18, 2021.
During the inauguration, on behalf of the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Prof. dr hab. Danuta Stróż matriculation of new students was made by the Vice-Dean for Education and Students of the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Silesia in Katowice, Dr. hab. Ewa Malicka, prof. UŚ. The new students were also welcomed by the Director of the Material Science and Engineering, Dr. Joanna Maszybrocka, and the Dean’s Plenipotentiary for International Cooperation and Institutional Erasmus Coordinator, Dr. Magdalena Szklarska.
During the inauguration, Dr. Małgorzata Karolus, prof. UŚ and MSc. Karsten Glowka gave short presentations about the Institute of Materials Engineering and the topics that new students will learn during the course of Materials Science and Engineering.
