It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 5th edition of the IP Case Law Conference to be held at the EUIPO headquarters and via the Zoom platform on April 29-30, 2024.

Given the tremendous success of the previous four editions in 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2022, the EUIPO Boards of Appeals aims to bring together leading IP experts from multiple jurisdictions, representing a broad spectrum of professional interests.

The conference focuses on the key role of case law, navigating the latest legislative reforms in various areas of intellectual property. The conference coincides with the 30th anniversary of the EUIPO. It will also cover issues related to the diverse challenges of the high-tech environment, particularly in the field of trademarks and designs.

The conference brings together influential figures ranging from leading intellectual property officials, legislators and judges to academics and lawyers who engage in discussions in this field. Through expert panels, the conference aims to provide insights into the multifaceted world of intellectual property in our rapidly evolving technology-saturated society.

The language of the conference will be English with simultaneous translation into French, German, Italian and Spanish.

Anyone interested in attending the conference online is invited to register at this link until April 22, 2024.
