Prof. Barbara Mikołajczyk from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Silesia in Katowice will deliver a keynote lecture “International law principles and values in times of crisis. A challenge for academia” during XIIІ International Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern development of state-building and legislation in Ukraine: issues of theory and practice“.
The conference is organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Mariupol State University, Institute of Security Service in Ukraine of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, Representative of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner of Human Rights in Donetsk and Luhansk Regions and Department Ukrainian Bar Association in Donetsk Region. In the conference will participate researchers, practitioners, young scholars, and postgraduates discussing current issues in the theory and practice in the state building and legislation in Ukraine, as well as the development of the national legal system in the context of prolonged conflict and post-war reconstruction.
The conference will take place on May 16, 2025.
