We are pleased to invite you to another two meetings of the Guest Lectures series!
Our first special guest will be prof. Marta Andhov who is an expert in public procurement law. She combines research excellence with practical insights as an associate professor both at the University of Copenhagen and at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Her expertise includes public procurement law, sustainable development and government contracts.
The following event has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 11, 2025, 9.45-11.15 am, auditorium no. 2 – “Lecture on current challenges of sustainable public procurement law”. The theme of the lecture will be current challenges of sustainable public procurement law. Participants, together with Prof. Andhov, will consider whether public authorities can also take into account environmental, social and economic aspects in public procurement, and what tangible benefits are obtained.
Our second guest will be Gábor Mélypataki, PhD from the University of Miskolc! Dr. Mélypataki is a specialist in the field of labor law, in addition to which digitization, artificial intelligence and the impact of the green transition on labor law play a key role in his current research.
On this occasion, we encourage you to attend the upcoming event “The visible and the invisible labor in the mirror of pay transparency” – June 12, 9.45-11.15 am., room no. 3.46 – the meeting will focus on the much-discussed issue of the gender gap, i.e. the gender pay gap. The European Union is constantly striving to harmonize wages between men and women. However, how does the issue play out in reality? Are more regulations aimed at erasing the wage gap being implemented in more workplaces? Dr. Mélypataki will talk in detail about the fight against the gender gap and other challenges of the current job market.
Admission to the events is open and no prior registration is required!
Both meetings will be held entirely in English.
