He graduated with an average grade of 4.88 and defended his Master’s thesis with an excellent mark. Since the second year continuously awarded with the His Magnificence Rector of the University of Silesia scholarship for the best students. From 2012 to 2017 a member of ELSA Katowice, in 2013-2014 he took the position of vice-president of the association. Paweł Zapotoczny participated in an international conference organized by the University of Muenster, in cooperation with the University of Silesia in Katowice, entitled “Dobra osobiste w prawie polskim, niemieckim i europejskim”. He gave a presentation at the same very conference on “Ujęcia dóbr osobistych w Konstytucji”.
