Sara Piwowarska

A graduate of Political Science with a specialization in Contemporary International Relations at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Silesia.

The best graduate of the 2016/2017 academic year

She obtained a grade point average of 4.97 and an excellent mark on her diploma. She received the  His Magnificence Rector’s scholarship for the best students consecutively from 2013 to 2017. Her first research paper is entitled “Hard power i soft power w polityce bezpieczeństwa Izraela”. Besides, she participated in the editorial work of scientific publications, took part in several conferences, some of which she also organized herself. In the academic year 2013/2014 she was a member of the Scientific Circle of Political Scientists of the University of Silesia and the International Security Section of the Scientific Circle of Political Scientists of the University of Silesia. A year late she was a member of the Scientific Circle of International Relations of the University of Silesia, and then two years in a row in the Interdisciplinary Social Science Circle of the University of Silesia, with which, during the Silesian Science Festival in 2016, she organized a workshop entitled „Prognozowanie międzynarodowe, czyli symulacja wybranego konfliktu zbrojnego w XXI wieku”. The graduate is interested in Middle Eastern culture and customs, literature, volleyball, and horseback riding.
