Tematyka badań zespołu:

Badania nad nowymi materiałami o właściwościach adsorpcyjnych oraz mechanizmami adsorpcji jonów metali. Badania obejmują głównie nanomateriały nieorganiczne i nanomateriały węglowe (grafen, tlenek grafenu, nanorurki węglowe, pianki grafenowe, fulereny) oraz ich chemiczne modyfikacje mające na celu zwiększenie pojemności adsorpcyjnej lub selektywności w stosunku do wybranych jonów. Opracowanie procedur analitycznych oznaczania oraz specjacji jonów metali z wykorzystaniem atomowej spektrometrii emisyjnej ze wzbudzeniem w plazmie (ICP-OES), atomowej spektrometrii absorpcyjnej z atomizacją w płomieniu (FAAS) i piecu grafitowym (ETAAS), rentgenowskiej spektrometrii fluorescencyjnej z dyspersją energii (EDXRF) i całkowitym odbiciem promieniowania (TXRF). Badania w zakresie chemometrii, w tym opracowanie metody identyfikacji biomarkerów bazującej na analizie topologicznej reszt od modelu klasyfikacyjnego.
