Tematyka badań zespołu:

Tematyka badawcza zespołu jest związana z otrzymywaniem wybranych materiałów optycznych oraz określeniem ich właściwości przy użyciu metod spektroskopowych: FT-IR, Ramana, EPR, absorpcji i luminescencji. Są to w szczególności materiały domieszkowane jonami metali przejściowych i/lub lantanowców stosowane w szeroko pojętej fotonice i optoelektronice, między innymi szkła nieorganiczne dla włókien optycznych, materiały szklano-ceramiczne i luminofory ceramiczne, materiały zawierające nanokryształy fluorkowe otrzymywane metodą zol-żel, materiały wykorzystujące procesy konwersji promieniowania podczerwonego na światło widzialne, materiały laserowe, materiały dla optycznych czujników temperatury.
