The laboratory can conduct research on dielectric materials, semiconductors, and conductors. The scope of research includes broadband dielectric spectroscopy in the frequency range from 1 µHz to 120 MHz, measurements of complex nonlinear dielectric susceptibility, piezoelectric and pyroelectric properties, electrical hysteresis loops, DC and AC electrical conductivity, birefringence, and domain structure. Studies can be performed in the temperature range from 90 K to 800 K
