Agnieszka Solska, doktor habilitowany nauk humanistycznych w zakresie językoznawstwa, współtłumaczka na język polski monografii Relevance: Communication and Cognition Sperbera i Wilson. Jej zainteresowania naukowe dotyczą pragmatyki językoznawczej oraz inferencyjnych modeli komunikacji językowej (zwłaszcza teorii relewancji). Główne obszary jej obecnych badań to język figuratywny oraz wypowiedzi wykorzystujące zjawisko wieloznaczności językowej do komunikowania znaczeń.

Research interests:
Linguistic pragmatics and inferencial models of linguistic communication (especially theory of relevance).
The main areas of her current research: figurative language and utterances in which linguistic ambiguity is used to communicate meanings.
