Creative Writing and Publishing Marketing

The degree programme is addressed to future writers, artists and employees of the media and publishing sector. It combines publishing marketing and content related to literary, poetic and screenwriting work.

workshops and practical courses

The core of the studies are workshops and practical subjects conducted by professional writers, poets, screenwriters and editors of leading publishing houses in Poland (Sonia Draga, Tomasz Kontny, Mikołaj Marcela, Marta Matyszczak, Grzegorz Olszański, Ewa Orzeszek-Szmytko).

During classes, students acquire knowledge and skills related to the nature and course of the creative process, explore the specificity of the publishing market in Poland and the marketing tools used there by leading Polish publishing houses.

Creative Writing and Publishing Marketing studies are aimed at people who want to pursue creative or publishing work and at the same time develop their interpersonal competences and creative abilities.

The studies are only available in the full-time mode.

2ND CYCLE STUDIES

Graduates of the degree programme are able to apply the acquired knowledge and skills in their own work. They are also equipped with the competences to plan and conduct creative activities. ​ To meet these challenges, the studies present issues related to the creative process, modern literature, screenwriting, sociology of literature, publishing market and publishing marketing, which constitute the basis for knowledge and skills related to creative writing and publishing marketing.
