International Polish Studies

Do you have humanistic and social skills, but you want to use them for something more than just studying theoretical linguistics and literature?

interdisciplinary studies

Come and join International Polish Studies – interdisciplinary studies that combine knowledge about the Polish language and world languages, Polish and world literature and knowledge in the field of cultural studies with world contexts (in confrontation with the cultures of various European and non-European regions) with intercultural and interethnic knowledge and competences.

international groups

Students of this degree programme learn in international groups, which allows them to meet representatives of other cultures, teaches tolerance and opens broad perspectives on their own culture.

The curriculum includes a wide range of subjects devoted to selected issues of culture, language, literature, history and art, as well as subjects in the field of interpersonal and intercultural communication.

The majors offered within the degree programme are well adapted to the labour market.

The studies are only available in the full-time mode.

An additional advantage of International Polish Studies is an attractive programme of internships in cultural and educational institutions and various international companies, which prepare students for professional work.

They can also gain experience during trips to other European universities under the international Erasmus+ programme and other programmes and projects, as well as in contact with foreign students and lecturers coming to Poland thanks to various projects and cooperation agreements.

The studies guarantee thorough and useful knowledge provided by reliable and competent lecturers who demonstrate not only theoretical, but also practical knowledge acquired during many years of work in international environments. They are professionals who have verified their knowledge in practice.
