We are pleased to announce that Robert Pyka, PhD, DLitt, Assoc Prof. was selected to become a board member for the International Association of French-Speaking Sociologists (AISLF)
The selection was made by the General Assembly during the organisations’s World Congress in Ottawa (6-14 July 2024). During the Congress, Robert Pyka, PhD, DLitt, Assoc Prof. – in cooperation with the Director of the Centre on Governance, a local scientific partner – conducted an interdisciplinary scientific meeting and presented a paper entitled ‘Les innovations sociales comme facteur d’agilité métropolitaine. Vers le paradigme post-métropolitaine?’.
With approximately 4,500 members, AISLF is one of the largest organisations of sociologists from around the world for whom French is the language of communication and scientific work. Nearly 900 scholars attended this year’s AISLF Congress in Ottawa.
Selecting Robert Pyka, PhD, DLitt, Assoc Prof. to the AISLF board is a great honour and distinction.
