The first meeting of the Monitoring Committee for Digitisation took place on 20 January 2026; the body was set up as part of the Innovative Public Procurement project, funded by the European Funds for a Modern Economy 2021-2027 Programme.
The role of Chairman is held by Prof. Eng. Robert Koprowski from USil Institute of Biomedical Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology.
The Committee is to advise and monitor the implementation of research and development projects in the field of digitisation, in particular within the framework of the National Smart Specialisations, NSS 10 and NSS 11.
The inaugural meeting covered the principles of the Committee, adopting a work plan, and establishing the criteria for the selection of research challenges. Further meetings will take place in the near future.
