The Faculty of Science and Technology and the SPIN-Lab Centre for Microscopic Research on Matter at the University of Silesia invites all interested and talented students to enrol in the intensive “VINCI RELOADED – Interdisciplinary International Silesian Summer School”.
If you are a student from EU and non-EU countries who has completed at least one year of first-cycle studies or is enrolled in second-cycle studies (computer science, chemical sciences, physical sciences, or materials engineering), you are very welcome to apply to the VINCI RELOADED School.
The recruitment process has just started. The application form will be open from 09/02/2026 to 08/03/2026.
The Vinci RELOADED Summer School Programme offers basic and advanced courses in physics, chemistry, computer science, materials engineering and microscopic research on matter courses. Students of the Summer School will attend a series of lectures specially tailored for them.
Moreover, the School offers a unique opportunity to join in the day-to-day work of research teams participating in experiments at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Silesia.

The courses on Polish culture at the School of Polish Language and Culture and a scientific excursion are also part of the programme. Students are required to prepare a short report (presentation) on their work which should be presented during a closing seminar, at the end of their stay.
