Interdisciplinary International Silesian Summer School VINCI RELOADED | Start on 29 June 2026

From 29 June to 17 July, over a period of three weeks, the Faculty of Science and Technology will host 25 international students as part of the Interdisciplinary International Silesian Summer School – Vinci Reloaded.

Our students will explore their chosen topics through lectures, research workshops, and seminars within five areas: computer science, physics, chemistry, materials engineering, and microscopy. They will also have the opportunity to learn about Polish culture, the richness of the Silesian region, and Poland’s leading research laboratories.

Vinci Summer School students include citizens of countries such as France, Hungary, Slovakia, Spain, Portugal, Romania, and Ukraine.


Submitted by the Faculty of Science and Technology, the proposal of ‘VINCI RELOADED – Interdisciplinary International Silesian Summer School’ has been awarded funding of PLN 661,100.00 in the NAWA SPINAKER – Intensive International Education Programmes, and its main objective is to improve the quality of education for international students and to improve the attractiveness of studying at the University of Silesia.
