About
The 360RG-CHEM Challenge is a recurring event initiated in 2023 by the Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, the Faculty of Chemistry of the Technical University of Łódź and the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Silesia in Katowice The event serves for science communications purposes and promoting research in organic chemistry—in its broad sense—carried out by graduate and PhD students of Polish universities and research institutes. After the huge success of the 1st edition, the Contest has broadened its scope and is ready to invite representatives of leading scientific centres from Poland and the entire Europe. And so the idea for the European 360RG-CHEM Challenge has been born.
The first final of the European 360RG-CHEM Challenge takes place on 2 December 2024 in Katowice, featuring many popular science events, including chemistry workshops and popular science talks.
The Challenge is free of charge and is addressed to people carrying out research in organic chemistry; it will be carried out within two separately evaluated levels:
- last-year students of 2nd cycle and long-cycle studies, and 2024 alumni,
- PhD students.
