Medical Physics
Second cycle studies in Medical Physics last 3 semesters (1.5 years). The student acquires knowledge, skills and experience to work in paramedical professions such as medical physicist, clinical engineer, electroradiologist. An important goal of education is also to prepare physicists to work in interdisciplinary teams (consisting of doctors, biologists, chemists, technicians) and to act as experts in the field of quality management systems in the fields related to medical physics, safety quality, technical quality of imaging procedures, development and handling non-standard operating procedures. Within the second cycle studies, two majors are available: Medical Diagnostics and Medical Dosimetry and Oncological Therapy.
