The best graduate of the 2016/2017  academic year

A graduate of the Faculty of Philology at the University of Silesia, majoring in French with a specialized and computer-aided translation programme, from which she graduated with a grade point average of 4.75 and a very good diploma. Apart from this, she also studied Italian at the University of Silesia with a translation program. She was awarded a scholarship in the Leonardo da Vinci Project in 2010, the His Magnificence Rector’s scholarship for 2016/2017, was the winner of the ninth edition of the His Magnificence Rector’s Distinction Competition and received a medal for her contribution to European integration from Jerzy Drożdż, Titular Ambassador, Director of the Office of International Cooperation at the National Chamber of Commerce. She participated in scientific projects in the field of tourism, organized, conducted, and translated several events in the field of business, Italian and French culture, e.g. 1st International Investment Forum in Skarżysko-Kamienna, Si Silesia – International Business Forum and 3rd International Business Meeting in Tychy. For 10 years a member of Alliance Francaise in Katowice, for 7 years Chef d’Ilot appointed by the Ambassador of the Republic of France in Poland, and for 5 years Vice President of Europa House Foundation. French is her mother tongue, but she is also fluent in Polish, Italian and English, using them in her day-to-day activities, i.e. managing a team of translators, integrating international communities, and creating cultural events. She devotes her free time to her other interests: swimming, design and interior design, travelling, cake baking, and photography.
