dr hab. Ewa Gumul, prof. UŚ

Tłumaczka i badaczka przekładu, związana z Uniwersytetem Śląskim od 1997 roku. Z wykształcenia jest anglistką i iberystką. Specjalizuje się w przekładoznawstwie, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem metodologii badań translatologicznych, procesów kognitywnych oraz transformacji tekstowych zachodzących w tłumaczeniu symultanicznym. Jest autorką oraz recenzentką licznych publikacji z zakresu translatoryki. Jej badania łączą perspektywę lingwistyczną z podejściem psycholingwistycznym.

Dr hab. Ewa Gumul, Prof. UŚ

Ewa Gumul is an active interpreter and Translation & Interpreting Studies scholar who has been affiliated with the University of Silesia since 1997. She holds degrees in English and Spanish Studies. Her research focuses on translation studies, in particular research methodology, cognitive processes, and textual transformations occurring in simultaneous interpreting. She is the author and reviewer of numerous publications in the field of Translation & Interpreting Studies. Her work combines linguistic and psycholinguistic perspectives.
