Pi Day is a science communication event, the date of which is determined by the first three numbers of the π number: 3,14… It is worth remembering that it is the American date format of the day, i.e. March 14. The 17th Pi Day takes place on-site in three cities: Katowice – Chorzów – Sosnowiec.  You are going to find us on that day at each building of the Faculty of Science and Technology.

Programme

100% of maths + 100% of exact sciences and technology = 17th Pi Day.

Take part in lectures, workshops, and shows in maths, chemistry, physics, computer science, biomedical engineering as well as materials science and engineering. We invite you for contests, intriguing conversations and loads of fun.

Remember to register for workshops and lectures with limited places. The character of the event conditions the limits; thus, lectures are limited to 90 people, whereas workshops limits are determined individually by the instructor.

The registration for the activities launches at the beginning of March.

You can enjoy all of that during Pi Day celebration on 14 March 2023!
We serve science in an easy-to-digest form.
Cheers
