In the 2024/2025 academic year, we launched a new series of Guest Lectures meetings, which allow Students to interact with experts from foreign universities, and academics to develop an international network.

In recent months, we have hosted specialists in various fields of law, who, with their vast experience and expert knowledge, introduced Students to issues such as criminal law in social media, the limits of freedom of speech on the Internet, and the European Pillar of Social Rights.

The finale of the first edition took place in early June and was an opportunity to meet two renowned experts:

  • prof. Marta Andhov (University of Auckland and University of Copenhagen) gave a lecture titled “Current challenges of sustainable public procurement law.” The lecture dealt with the current challenges of sustainable public procurement, with a focus on environmental, social and economic aspects.
  • Gábor Mélypataki, PhD (Miskolc University) presented an analysis of labor law issues in a lecture titled “The visible and the invisible labor in the mirror of pay transparency” related to the so-called gender gap, differences in pay between men and women in the same positions.

We would like to thank all participants who actively participated in our new series! We also invite you to the next Guest Lectures – we will be back in October!
