On June 12-14, 2025, Wojciech Wydmański, M.A., a member of the Research Team of Comparative Legal History of the Institute of Legal Sciences, University of Silesia, participated in the international scientific conference 3. Tagung des Jungen Netzwerks Rechtsgeschichte entitled. “RECHT UND KRISE – Zwischen Krisenrecht und Krise des Rechts” organized by the University of Graz!
This is the third edition of the conference bringing together young from prestigious universities from European countries in particular Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic and Poland. During the conference, Wojciech Wydmański, M.A., presented a paper: “Arbitration and the Crisis: Arbitration Courts in Cracow during the Second World War”.
Participation in the conference is part of the presentation of the results of research carried out by Wojciech Wydmański, M.A., as the head of the project “Arbitration Courts in Poland in the years 1918-1949” carried out at the University of Silesia in Katowice under the program of the Minister of Education and Science called “Pearls of Science” – project number PN/01/0259/2022, the amount of funding 196,020.00 PLN, the total value of the project 196,020.00 PLN.
We are also pleased to announce that the paper will be published in a post-conference monograph published by Nomos Verlagsgesellschaft, a prestigious German scientific publishing house!
