Angelo Viglianisi Ferraro is a Professor of Private Law and the Erasmus Coordinator at the Department of Law, Economics and Humanities of the “Mediterranea” University of Reggio Calabria, where he also acts as the Head of the “Mediterranea International Centre for Human Rights Research” (MICHR) and the Director of a Postdoctoral Program (in “New Technologies and Law”) and an International LLM (in European Private Law).
Furthermore, he is an Adjunct Professor at the Cracow University of Economics (Poland), the Parul University in Vadodara (India), and the Federal University of Sergipe (Brazil). He has been a speaker at conferences, seminars or round tables, and a guest lecturer (for students and PhD candidates) in over 140 foreign Universities (European, South American and Asian). He is a member of the scientific boards of several international journals and research centres and study groups. He is the author of 4 monographies and the editor of 26 books. Additionally, he has written numerous peer reviewed articles on civil liability, consumer law, antitrust law, family law, and fundamental rights.
