Guest Lectures – meetings with Professor Angelo Viglianisi Ferraro

On Wednesday, February 25, 2026, a meeting was held as part of the “Guest Lectures” series, during which we hosted Professor Angelo Viglianisi Ferraro from Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria.

Angelo Viglianisi Ferraro is a professor of private law and coordinator of the Erasmus program at the Faculty of Law, Economics, and Humanities at Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria, where he also serves as director of the Mediterranea International Center for Human Rights Research (MICHR) and director of the postdoctoral program (in the field of “New Technologies and Law”) and the international LLM program (in the field of European private law).

He is a member of the scientific councils of several international journals, research centers, and research groups. He is the author of four monographs and editor of twenty-six books. He has written numerous peer-reviewed articles on civil liability, consumer law, antitrust law, family law, and fundamental rights.

During the meeting with the staff of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia, forms of international cooperation based on the exchange of knowledge and experience were discussed.

Students took part in an inspiring lecture entitled “AI and Human Rights.”
