In the last week of November there was a special meeting in the Welcome Point. We decided to organize the traditional St Andrew’s evening of fortune telling.
In the decorated room the participants could listen about the origins of the St Andrew’s day and customs connected with it. They also tried to foretell their future by pouring the hot wax to the water and guessing the meaning of the created shapes’ shadows on the wall, as well as by drawing slips of paper with predictions for the coming year. The meeting was also the opportunity to taste the national dishes and snacks from different countries brought by the guests. Now we only need to wait and find out if the predictions become reality.
