The project by Marek Marzec PhD, DSc, Associate Professor of the University of Silesia has received funding under the SONATA BIS13 call for proposals. The aim of the initiative is to establish a new scientific team.
Marek Marzec PhD, DSc, Assoc. Prof. is an employee of the Institute of Biology, Biotechnology and Environmental Protection and a member of the Plant Genetics and Functional Genomics Team. As part of the funding obtained, he will implement a project ‘Identification of mechanisms for regulating strigolactone-dependent gene expression in barley and testing the universality of these mechanisms in plants’.
