The Programme in European Private Law for Postgraduates (PEPP) seminar took place from 20 to 24 April 2026 at the Faculty of Law of the University of Cambridge. PhD students from partner universities in Cambridge, Genoa, Hamburg, Katowice, Leuven, Maribor, Münster, Oxford, Valencia and Zagreb come together to discuss their research, attend lectures and seminars, and take part in a moot court.
Among the participants was Maciej Niezgoda, a doctoral student at the Doctoral School of the University of Silesia, who took a part in the event and represented the University. PEPP is a one-year taught programme for doctoral students working in private law in the European context. It aims to give participants first-hand experience of other legal cultures, help them build a European network of peers, and enhance the quality of their academic work.
