The opening of this year’s series of meetings will be marked by a visit from Hon. Mr Justice Gerard Hogan.
Gerard Hogan is a distinguished lawyer and a graduate of prestigious universities in Ireland and the United States. He earned his law degrees from University College Dublin and the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He received his Doctor of Laws degree from Trinity College Dublin, where he also served as a lecturer for many years.
Appointed a judge of the Irish High Court in October 2010, he was later a judge of the Irish Court of Appeal between 2014 and October 2018. He served as Advocate General at the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg between October 2018 and October 2021. He currently serves as a judge of Irish Supreme Court following his appointment to that position in October 2021.
