We are pleased to inform that Filip Szwejkowski, a recent graduate in law at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Silesia, participated in the CEE Vienna International Tax Law Summer School 2026. He was recommended by Professor Jadwiga Glumińska-Pawlic and invited by Prof. Dr. DDr. h.c. Michael Lang.

The summer school took place from July 13 to 17, 2026, at the Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna), one of the leading centers for tax law research in Europe.

The program covered topics in international tax law, with a particular focus on the practical application of double tax treaties and European tax law. The classes were conducted by professors and experienced researchers from the Vienna Institute. Participants worked on issues that currently shape this area of law, exchanging views with peers from various European countries.

Participation in the summer school was a valuable experience that allowed for a deeper understanding of international and European tax law, as well as an opportunity to exchange views with participants from different parts of Europe.
