Obecnie pracuję w Instytucie Literaturoznawstwa (Uniwersytet Śląski w Katowicach) i prowadzę wykłady i ćwiczenia z socjologii, medioznawstwa i studiów kulturowych. Moje zainteresowania badawcze dotyczą studiów kulturowych i teorii kultury, socjologii ryzyka, teorii zaufania społecznego oraz dyskursów zdrowia i choroby we współczesnej kulturze.

I received my PhD from the University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland in 2009. I work at the Institute of Literary Studies (University of Silesia in Katowice), where I teach Sociology, Media Studies, and Cultural Studies. My research interests include cultural studies and cultural theory, sociology of risk, theories of trust, and discourses of health and illness.
