ABOUT THE EVENT


The USil Career Day presents opportunities for academics and researcher sfrom all over the world and to anyone interested in the professional development to pursue their careers at the University of Silesia in Katowice. We want to present insights into applying for job positions at our university, navigate the participants through our employment process, and provide the first-hand information about work at the University of Silesia in Katowice, as well as life in Poland in general.

USil Career Day is organized as a part of the Welcome2US project financed by the Polish National Agency of Academic Exchange (NAWA) as a part of the Welcome to Poland 2022 programme.

The online event

The Career Day website provides information about the university and the employment opportunities. Apart from the website you will be able to register for an online event during which we will talk with our employees about the development opportunities and work at USil.  We want to provide you with access to the recording of the event, so that  you can view the university materials anytime from any place in the world.

It will also be possible for the registered participants to ask our speakers questions in the chat.

The USil Career Day will be organized on the 25th of April 2025. In order to participate in the event, we will provide an online registration form.

COME TO US WITH NAWA SCHOLARSHIP


You can apply for a position in an open call announced on the website of the University of Silesia in Katowice, or you can come to USil as a part of NAWA scholarship.

NAWA – The Polish National Agency of Academic Exchange is an institution established in 2017 to coordinate state activities connected with driving the process of internationalization of Polish academic and research institutions. One of the objectives of NAWA’s activities is enhancing international cooperation of scientists within the Polish system of science and higher education. In order to fulfil this objective NAWA has a range of Programmes supporting both institutions and scientists.
