“Our guide to everyday geomorphology” is a joint work of employees and students of the Institute of Earth Sciences and the Institute of Social and Economic Geography and Spatial Management. The authors presented places close to their hearts, whether because of their sentiment for the “Little Homeland” or objects related to their research work. The common theme is landforms and processes embedded in our everyday space.
We invite you to join us on a journey through close places, although usually less known. To discover nooks for nice weekend trips. To familiarize yourself with the effects of our colleagues’ work.
The guide is an ongoing publication, constantly expanding with new locations. Therefore, we invite you to co-create it by sending new proposals for places, photographs of landforms, manifestations of processes leading to the creation and shaping of relief, or landscapes with complexes of different landforms telling about the impact of exogenous and endogenous factors. We await your photographs for the next edition until 31.05.2025 at the following e-mail address: joanna.szafraniec@us.edu.pl.
