W 2019 roku uzyskałam stopień doktora nauk humanistycznych w zakresie literaturoznawstwa na podstawie rozprawy pt. Corporeal Aesth/ethics: The Body in Bracha L. Ettinger’s Theory and Art. Jestem autorką licznych publikacji poświęconych teorii macierzy Brachy L. Ettinger. Jestem członkinią redakcji periodyków naukowych, między innymi „ER(R)GO: Teoria – Literatura – Kultura” oraz „MAI: Feminism & Visual Culture”, oraz Komisji Historycznoliterackiej Polskiej Akademii Nauk (Oddział w Katowicach). Do moich zainteresowań naukowych należą teoria macierzy, studia nad traumą, teoria fotografii oraz ciało i kobiecość w sztukach wizualnych i literaturze.

Anna Kisiel, PhD – literary scholar, English philologist, assistant professor at the Institute of Literary Studies. In 2019, I defended my PhD thesis in literary studies entitled Corporeal Aesth/ethics: The Body in Bracha L. Ettinger’s Theory and Art. I have published extensively on Bracha L. Ettinger’s matrixial theory. I am an editorial team member of several academic journals, including ER(R)GO: Teoria – Literatura – Kultura / Theory – Literature – Culture and MAI: Feminism & Visual Culture, and a member of Polish Academy of Sciences Commission on Literary History (Katowice Branch). My academic research revolves around – but is not limited to – matrixial psychoanalysis, trauma studies, photography theory, and body and femininity in the visual arts and literature.
