Anna Kisiel, PhD – literary scholar, English philologist, assistant professor at the Institute of Literary Studies. She is an author of two books, Corporeal Aesth/ethics: The Body in Bracha L. Ettinger’s Theory and Art (punctum books, 2026) and Spectres, Shreds, Subversions. Matrixial Readings of Francesca Woodman’s Photography (University of Silesia Press, 2026), and has published extensively on Ettinger’s theory and artistic practice, Francesca Woodman’s photography, Deborah Levy’s novels, and the works of other women writers. In 2019, she defended her PhD thesis in literary studies entitled Corporeal Aesth/ethics: The Body in Bracha L. Ettinger’s Theory and Art. She is an editorial team member of several academic journals, including ER(R)GO: Theory – Literature – Culture and  MAI: Feminism & Visual Culture, and a member of Polish Academy of Sciences Commission on Literary History (Katowice Branch). Her academic research revolves around – but is not limited to – matrixial psychoanalysis, trauma studies, photography theory, and body, femininity, and relations in the visual arts and literature.
