E-learning in the Time of COVID-19

Abstract: In recent years, e-learning has been a very relevant and interesting object of research for the educational community. However, it has been mainly focused on its pedagogical side, leaving aside the more technical aspect. In this paper, virtual learning environments will be approached from a more technical point of view, focusing on their implementation, management and maintenance. In addition, in a context in which the real value of exams has been questioned, alternatives to them will be offered and an approach to online test supervision tools (e-proctoring) will be made. All this will be discussed within the framework of primary education where e-learning and the management of Virtual Learning Environments will also be ad- dressed through the concepts of school engagement and school culture.
