Abstract: The paper discusses programme competences of students majoring in the specialty 073 – Management in conditions of distance learning caused by the pandemic COVID-19. It analyses the influence of distance learning methods and techniques on the programme competences of managers. The paper studies the curriculum design of the first (bachelor’s) degree course 073 – Management within the field of knowledge “Management and Administration” (07) at one of the typical higher education institutions in Ukraine in conditions of distance learning. The au- thors consider relevant components of the curriculum design. The analysis allowed the authors to identify which of the programme competences in the course design were made easier for the students to acquire due to pandemic-induced distance learning mode. The authors suggest a way to improve the curriculum design for the next year of study.
