Agreement between University of Silesia in Katowice and TechMine Fund SA has been signed on October 9th, in Katowice. Signatories were: prof. Andrzej Kowalczyk, Vice-Rector for Science and Economic Cooperation and Łukasz Zjawiński, president of the TechMine Fund SA Board.
Agreement will result in knowledge exchange between business and academic environments as well as in joint projects implementation. TechMine SA will support economic initiatives of students, Ph.D. students, academic staff and alumni of University of Silesia.
TechMine Fund SA is an investment fund, and its main goal is to support existing companies at an early stage of development with funds and consulting. Fund’s activities are concentrated specially on IT companies.
