Applied research – depopulation
The Institute is carrying out applied research on an important problem affecting most European societies, including the Polish society, i.e., depopulation. The Institute’s employees are implementing commercialization projects, preparing expert opinions for external entities, and doing research that provides the basis of educational programs.
Applied research – anti-corruption
One of the main areas of applied research done at the Institute is anti-corruption research. Scientific projects and studies are used in the broad offer of courses, consultancy and anti-corruption programs prepared for business, self-governmental and educational entities, both in Poland and abroad.
As part of the scientific research carried out, the Institute works primarily with researchers from two regions: the Mediterranean Basin and Central and Eastern Europe. Its output includes numerous scientific internships, study visits, publications and research projects. We have also started working with researchers from Norway, USA and Taiwan.
The Institute of Political Science was established on 1 October 1975. It emerged as a separate entity from the Institute of Philosophy, Sociology and Political Science.
