Silesian Aces
The „Silesian Aces” Gala is a ceremony organized annually by the University of Silesia in Katowice. During the event, the university honours the most talented and distinguished secondary school students of the Silesia Province. Winners and finalists of international and national competitions as well as nationwide-level Olympiads included in the list of competitions and Olympiads may be considered as participants in the gala. The school head or a person authorized by him or her will be informed by e-mail about the student’s being admitted to the gala. The ceremony takes place at the end of September of a given year. Detailed rules for qualifying winners and finalists of Olympiads and school contests for the entrance to the gala are described in the regulations.
