Evacuation
If it does not threaten your safety:
- turn off and secure all electrical and gas appliances;
- secure documents, seals, financial resources, etc.;
- take your most important personal belongings with you.
Do not perform the above actions if your life is in danger. Leave the building as quickly as possible using the designated escape routes!
REMEMBER:
- During the evacuation, follow the instructions of the people in charge.
- Do not lock the rooms.
- Follow the evacuation routes marked with appropriate signs to the emergency exit.
- Do not use lifts during evacuation.
- If the evacuation routes are heavily smoke-filled, move in a crouched position with your head as low as possible to the floor (lower temperature and less smoke).
- If necessary, protect your airways, preferably with a damp cloth or other material (e.g. a cotton T-shirt). This will make breathing easier and prevent burns to the airways.
- Do not open windows or doors unless necessary to rescue people.
