Accessibility of the entrance to the building and control area

It is a historic building with possible architectural barriers.

The stairs begin upon entering the building from ul. Bankowa. Accessible entrance is located from the patio side. The door opens automatically after pressing a button. There are videophones at the entrance, which can be used to call the receptionist and ask them for help.

Accessibility of corridors, stairs and elevators

There are 2 lifts and 2 outside platforms in the building. The lifts have sound features to indicate the direction of travel and the level at which they have stopped. The buttons are raised and marked in Braille. The button for the exit level is raised and contrasted. The lift is equipped in sound and video communication system enabling communication with the porter’s lodge (telephone and video).

Staircases were fitted with railings and level numbers accessible by sight and touch (raised Arabic numbers and markings in Braille).

Types of adjustments inside the building

There are accessible toilets adapted to the needs of persons with disabilities on each floor of the building. The toilets are fitted with grab bars by the toilet, an emergency call system, touchless soap dispensers, and a mirror with a changeable angle.

All rooms are labelled with high-contrast print and information about the number and function of the room in Braille.

An audio induction loop has been installed in the porter’s lodge and conference rooms to enable clearer hearing with hearing aids and implants.

There are many ergonomic lounge furniture in the building space.

There is a properly labelled parking space for people with disabilities near the building.
