Accessibility of the entrance to the building and control area
The entrance to the dormitory is labelled with an appropriate board and inscription ‘Dom Studenta nr 2’ [Student Residence Hall no. 2]. There are two steps and a ramp with handrails providing access for people with disabilities.
The doorbell is installed at the entrance door, at a height of approximately 1 m.
Upon entering the building we are at level 0. The porter’s lodge is 1.5 m from the entrance.
Accessibility of corridors, stairs and lifts
The building is four-storey. There is no lift. Access barriers for wheelchair users have been removed on level 0.
Types of adjustments inside the building
On level 0, there are 5 residential rooms adapted for people with disabilities (including two wheelchair-accessible rooms) and public sanitary facilities (toilets, washbasins, and a shower) adapted for people with disabilities. The holders are installed and the manoeuvring space has been secured. Rooms are equipped with a paging system linked to the porter’s lodge.
Parking places designated for persons with disabilities and exploitation thereof
There is a parking space for people with disabilities in front of the building.
