Leszek Małczak, PhD, DLitt, Assoc. Prof. awarded Miroslav Krleža Foundation fellowship

Leszek Małczak, PhD, DLitt, Assoc. Prof. from the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Silesia in Katowice was awarded a fellowship by the Miroslav Krleža Foundation for a project to publish translations of M. Krleža’s dramas, never before published in Poland, together with their critique and analysis, as well as a study on the Polish reception of the dramatic works of this most important Croatian and at the same time one of the most important Central European writers of the 20th century.

The Foundation was established after the writer’s passing in 1985, in accordance with his will, as part of a biennial competition awarding a fellowship to one person from Croatia and one from abroad to conduct research related to Miroslav Krleža’s works and their translations.
